BeeTagg licence agreement

If you would like to use BeeTagg commercially, you first have to acquire the according use licences.

The private use and also the use through academic institutions and research establishments or through non-profit institutions are free of charge.

The BeeTagg use is based on the model of „Published Codes“. The number of clicks (scans) has no influence on the price. Also the number of different BeeTaggs does not influence the price.
Depending on the application case, there is always the possibility of individual agreements. Please contact us for further information.

The licence price is determined by the circulation of the communication media on which the BeeTagg is applied.

Examples:

• You would like to print BeeTaggs on 500 business cards. This equals 500 published BeeTaggs.
• You would like to make 100,000 music files in your web shop downloadable via BeeTaggs, this equals 100,000 published BeeTaggs.

   

This Approach is value-based which means that it considers the value of a BeeTagg by taking the scope, the quantity respectively, into account.

You therefore have total cost control (fixed price).

Moreover, there are options that influence the price:

• Keyword (None / Silver / Gold)
• Formate (None / Square / Lanscape / Saturn / Portrait / Big / Hexagon)
• Secure Codes 

The BeeTagg has an additional feature: Keywords. If a mobile phone does not have any camera or if the camera is not accessible, the user can enter a keyword in order to access the system. Thus, more users are able to use the application.

„No Keyword“ (None) means that the keyword is automatically created of any characters. „Silver Keyword“ means that you can individually chose four characters unless, it is a generic term or similar –in this case we talk of a „Golden Keyword“.

The BeeTagg is the only 2D code in which you can integrate a logo or character into the code. Because there are so many different logos and characters, we offer various formats.

We are the first and only company that offers „Secure Codes“, a method that enables the user to see whether it is a BeeTagg of a proved and provable provider, even before he clicks on it. This option is recommended for all applications that deal with transactions or user related data in any form.
